park ji hoon recently greeted the public through “Weak Hero Class 2” released by Netflix. In a recent interview, the 1999-born actor discussed his experience playing the character Yeon Si Eun.
Ji Hoon initially expressed his feelings upon seeing the release of season 2, considering that “Weak Hero Class” season 1 was such a success. “We all watched it together in a private screening before it came out. Although I liked all the characters, I felt like Yeon Si Eun had something more, there was a sense of vulnerability and sadness in her,” he said.
“As Director Yoo Soo Min mentioned, I wanted to share more of Si Eun’s story, and I’m grateful to have the opportunity to do so in Season 2. I cried after watching it. There was something left after the final scene,” he added.
Ji Hoon seemed to realize that they had all come this far for this moment. “In the end, it felt like we all worked hard to see Si Eun smile. Memories from Season 1, the sweat and tears on set, all of it came back to me,” he continued.
“I was completely focused on portraying Yeon Si Eun. I’m truly grateful and honored that people enjoyed the show, and I’m so happy that I had the opportunity to be a part of season 1,” she shared.
Lastly, Ji Hoon talked about his next project after “Weak Hero Class 2”. “Currently, I’m filming the movie ‘The King and the Man’), where I play King Danjong. I’m excited to show a different side of myself, and I hope people will continue to watch as I explore various roles in the future,” he concluded.
